TRACK PROGRAM

TTCTP has an extremely successful running program that will help athletes excel. The Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams and Cross Country Teams have won conference, regional, and national titles. The TTCTP teams have also produced many All-American athletes.

For High and Middle School Students

Talented Teen Club Track and Field Summer Camp and programs

TRACK CAMP HIGHLIGHTS:

The camp is designed to provide training in a variety of events including, sprints, hurdles, jumps.

The program are designed to participants of all ability levels and the instruction is geared to help all students improve their skills. The program include up-to-date techniques, video analysis, and in-depth instruction.

Students have the opportunity to receive instruction from experienced coaches. Students have the chance to visit and train in a world-class facility.

Track Camp Highlights: (June-July)

  • Campers have technique sessions with interactive learning video analysis.
  • Campers have the opportunity to receive competitive strategy instruction.
  • The camp includes rills, warm-ups and cool downs.
  • The camp incorporates nutrition, academics and recruiting.
  • Participants receive individual attention in sprints, hurdles, relays, long jump, high jump, triple jump.
  • Participants have the opportunity to work with nationally recognized coaches.
  • Participants: All high school boys and girls are invited to attend.

Training

Ages 13 and up, Male and female are welcome

We use these lessons to teach the basic athletic skills for each event. This will give young runners the foundation for learning good running form and becoming skilled athletes in general.

  4. Distance Running- Running Mechanics
  5. Long Jump - Technique, Approach, Takeoff
  6. Relay - The Relay Start, Baton Exchanges, and Techniques
